Pantime Steel Orchestra delivered a powerful and exhilarating performance, clinching victory in the 2025 National Panorama competition on Sunday at the Saab playing field.
With pulsating notes and vibrant, up-tempo melodic-rhythmic beats, the National Panorama Contest stands as a vital cornerstone of the Lucian Carnival highlights.
Dubbed ‘A Night of Rhythm, Talent, and Pure Lucian Pride,’ this impressive display of innovative artistry captivates audiences and infuses life into every gathering whenever pan music fills the air.
While there may not have been a typical lineup of steel bands this year, the excitement leading up to Sunday’s competition was undeniable. The public eagerly immersed themselves in the dynamic rehearsals at various locations, including the Multi-Purpose Complex compounds, atop Barnard Hill and ‘Tortie’s’ pan yard at the entrance to Gros Islet.

On the night of the competition, Pantime Steel Orchestra delivered an animated and compelling performance that captured the judges’ approval and captivated the crowd.
The rivalry among competing bands is intense, especially between the top players – Pantime and Babonneau Steel Orchestra. The excitement surrounding this competition only adds to its allure.
