The Awards showcase, which was widely recognized as the island’s premier achievement awards program in the private sector, endued an absence of approximately five years.
Ross Gardner is the President of the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, who believes the 5-year break was necessary to assist and allow the sector to settle and rebuild after the devastating effects of the global pandemic. The organization’s President was adamant that during the hiatus the Chamber was sufficiently occupied attending to its Small Member Support Program, advocating for national policy adjustments as well as its youth entrepreneurship initiatives.
The 2025 edition of the St. Lucia Business Awards is expected to experience a total revamp with the introduction of new categories that were designed to cover a broad spectrum accompanied by a streamlined application process and orientation workshops.
The awards committee of the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce is headed by Karen Peter who promises a dynamic event for all. Ms. Peter assured members, that this new refreshing posture will benefit all members with its effects resonating in their organizations months afterwards.
This will be the 11th edition of the local private sector awards program which highlights excellence among chamber members, large and small.
