Saint Lucia’s very own Jason Sayers delivered an impressive performance at the 18th CARICOM Road Races held on July 5, 2025, in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Competing in the 10K run among a field of 68 participants, Sayers—sporting Bib #171—secured an outstanding 9th place overall. The 50-year-old athlete ran with determination and represented Team Saint Lucia with pride and resilience.

Sayers’ achievement stands as a testament to his dedication, discipline, and love for the sport. His strong finish not only brought recognition to himself but also shone a spotlight on Saint Lucia’s presence in regional athletics.

The nation congratulates Jason Sayers on his stellar performance and thanks him for flying the flag high on the international stage.
