ON Sunday, April 13, 2025, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a double murder occurred which increased the homicide count in the country so far to 16.
Officers from the Gros Islet Police Station responded to a report of a shooting in Inglewood, Grande Rivere, Gros Islet, which led to the deaths of two males.
First responders found the unresponsive male victims in a vehicle at the scene, showing visible gunshot wounds on their bodies. A medical practitioner who arrived at the scene confirmed the deaths of the two victims.
The individuals involved have been identified as thirty-three-year-old Anthony Augustin, known as “Ronnie,” from Ti Colon, Castries, and thirty-four-year-old Dave Troy Louis from Fond Mange, Castries.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is calling on anyone with information about this incident to contact the Gros Islet Police Station at 456-3830.
