The SLFA Inc. Senior Men’s Club Championship continued on Tuesday with matches played at two venues, delivering key results that shaped the standings.
At the Corinth Playing Field, GMC United solidified their position in the top four with a 3-1 victory over Bays FC. After leading 2-1 at halftime, GMC extended their advantage with a late goal to secure the win. Sherman Augustin opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, followed by Tonius Simon in the 26th. Shannon Phillip sealed the victory with a goal in the 82nd minute. Bays FC’s lone goal came from a penalty converted by Duayne Jn. Baptiste in the 38th minute.
In the other match at Corinth, Young Stars and Monchy United battled to a goalless draw, continuing their struggles in the lower half of the table.
Over at the Soufrière Mini Stadium, Victory Eagles strengthened their lead on the leaderboard with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Faith United. Goals came in quick succession from Shon Alfred (35’) and Jerneil Alexander (37’), while Jardel Phillip pulled one back for Faith United in the 61st minute. The loss leaves Faith United at the bottom of the standings.
The final match of the night saw Chesters and Black Panthers play to a goalless draw, with both teams unable to break the deadlock.

The competition continues on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds, where Platinum FC will take on Northern United at 6:00 p.m.
