Saint Lucia Brings the Spirit of Its Festivals to Trinidad Ahead of Carnival 2025

Saint Lucia is making a vibrant push to captivate Trinidadian audiences with its signature festivals- Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival and Lucian Carnival during a strategic media blitz coinciding with Trinidad’s renowned Carnival. With Trinidad being one of Saint Lucia’s largest Caribbean tourism markets and sharing deep cultural ties, this initiative aims to entice revelers to experience the island’s unique blend of music, arts, and Carnival celebration.

Led by Chief Executive Officer of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SL, Mr. Louis Lewis, the delegation includes Tamara Gibson, Chairperson of the Carnival Planning and Management Committee, Christopher Gustave, who oversees marketing for the Caribbean region, and Marketing Officer Kenya James gaining valuable on-the-ground experience. The team’s visit will be marked by an extensive media schedule and high-profile branding along the Trinidad Carnival parade route with popular carnival band Yuma to ensure maximum visibility.

The delegation will participate in a series of live television and radio interviews as well as with print publications from February 24th to March 6th, engaging with some of Trinidad’s most influential media platforms including CCN TV6’s Morning Show, Hott 93.5 FM, Taj 92.3 FM, Red 96.7 FM, and i95.5 FM, ensuring a broad reach across diverse audiences. The media tour wraps up with a feature in the Guardian newspaper and an interview on Synergy TV, a key platform for entertainment and cultural programming.

These engagements will spotlight the highly anticipated Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival 2025, scheduled to deliver a world-class lineup and an immersive cultural experience from April 30th – May 11th, and Lucian Carnival from July 1st to 23rd which continues to position itself as a must-attend event on the regional carnival circuit.
