On Monday, March 17, 2025, at about 11:10 a.m., the Babonneau Police Station received a report of the finding of probable human skeleton remains in La Croix, Babonneau.
Officers responded to the report, where an inspection revealed what seemed to be human skeletal remains. As a result, an active investigation has been begun.
The identity of the remains has not yet been determined.
