Action continued in the SLFA Inc. Senior Men’s Club Championship on Wednesday at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort, where Platinum secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Northern United.
Platinum took control early, heading into halftime with a commanding 3-0 lead. Moses Henry and Saviola Elva were the stars of the match, each netting a brace—Henry finding the back of the net in the 25th and 65th minutes, while Elva struck in the 34th and 36th minutes.
However, the match was cut short after the 65th minute when Northern United was reduced to six players, falling below the minimum requirement of seven for the game to continue. As a result, Platinum was awarded the victory, strengthening their position in the race for the playoffs.
With this win, Platinum remains in contention as the competition intensifies.
