As part of International Women’s Day celebrations, three matches were played in the SLFA Inc. Girls Under-14 Championship at the La Fargue Playing Field.
In an exciting encounter, Choiseul and Vieux Fort South & North played to a 1–1 draw. Alphia Edward put Choiseul ahead in the 29th minute before an own goal from Tamar Joseph in the 40th minute secured the equalizer for their opponents.
Dennery showcased their dominance with a commanding 7–0 victory over Desruisseaux, led by an outstanding performance from Faye Alphonse, who netted four goals (44th, 53rd, 66th, and 68th minutes). Anna May Emmanuel added a brace (38th & 65th minutes) to complete the rout.
In the final match, Soufriere edged Anse La Raye 1–0, with Dildra Cherubin scoring the winning goal in the 63rd minute.
