
Action resumed in the SLFA Girls Under-14 Championship on Saturday, March 22, at the La Fargue Playing Field in Choiseul, with thrilling encounters that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Choiseul suffered their first defeat of the competition, falling 2–1 to Desruisseaux after a 1–1 halftime deadlock. Joyceline Neptune opened the scoring for Desruisseaux in the 5th minute, but Kianna Jean responded for Choiseul in the 10th minute to level the match. However, Alysia Emmanuel struck in the 28th minute, securing the win for Desruisseaux.


In another exciting clash, Canaries edged out Soufriere in a 3–2 thriller. Dreamer Longville led the charge for Canaries with a brace in the 36th and 42nd minutes, while Kayla Toussaint also found the net in the 19th minute. Soufriere fought back, benefiting from two unfortunate own goals by Kayla Toussaint (67th min) and Vanyah Flavius (68th min), but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.

Meanwhile, Anse La Raye claimed victory by default over Dennery.
