On Saturday, March 8, 2025, at around 6:15 p.m., police officers from the Dennery Police Station responded to a report of a Chopping at the Dennery Fishing Complex.
According to investigators, a male victim suffered many wounds and was carried by EMS to Dennery Hospital for treatment.
On Friday, March 14, 2025, officers from the Dennery Police Station were notified that the victim, 51-year-old Gilson Camille of Praslin, Micoud, had succumbed to his injuries and was proclaimed dead by a medical practitioner.
Investigators from the Dennery Police Station have already apprehended a male suspect in connection with the case.
