After a five-year hiatus, DASH Colour Run is set to make its long-awaited return on April 20, 2025, with a new route, an invigorated atmosphere, and an enhanced experience for participants. Since its inception in 2015, the event has been a key fixture on Saint Lucia’s Independence calendar but was last held in 2020 before being paused due to the pandemic.Â
The 5K event, which blends high-energy entertainment with a focus on health, unity, and national pride, will make its comeback with renewed purpose. Organizers have sought to maintain the event’s core traditions while introducing new elements to engage both returning and first-time participants.
DASH Director Robberta Rose emphasized the significance of the event’s revival, stating that “the energy, camaraderie, and incredible spirit of past participants has been greatly missed. The time has come to revive the experience in a way that remains inclusive for all, whether first-time attendees or seasoned DASHers.” She added, “this year’s event is expected to be a game-changer.”
The 2025 edition of DASH Colour Run will feature a redesigned course aimed at enhancing the colour-filled excitement and overall adventure. Immersive entertainment and interactive elements will be included at various checkpoints to create a vibrant and engaging experience for participants. Organizers are also placing a renewed emphasis on unity, ensuring that every participant contributes to a collective celebration of diversity and togetherness.
As preparations continue for its highly anticipated return, organizers acknowledge the challenges of re-engaging past participants, attracting new audiences, and ensuring operational efficiency. However, they remain confident that the extended pause has provided an opportunity for innovation, with several enhancements planned to elevate the experience.
DASH 2025 will maintain its commitment to youth empowerment, health and wellness, diversity, and unity. Details regarding partnerships and community initiatives will be announced in the coming weeks.
In anticipation of the event, organizers have planned a series of DASH Pop-Ups to engage the public and guide them through the online registration process. On March 8, a pop-up event will take place in Castries from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by another at JQ Rodney Bay Mall from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
As part of its commitment to sustainability, DASH Colour Run 2025 has transitioned to an online registration system.
The DASH package, priced at $45 EC, includes a DASH T-shirt or tank, a race day number bib, a designated day for package collection, a packet of colour powder, and access to a post-run “festivalesque” powder party featuring live entertainment, giveaways, and partner-provided samples.
With its return, DASH Colour Run 2025 will deliver a dynamic and memorable experience, reaffirming its status as one of the island’s most anticipated events.
