Chesters solidified their place in the semi-finals of the SLFA Inc. Senior Men’s Club Competition with a gritty 1–0 victory over Victory Eagles on Saturday, March 22, at the La Ressource Playing Field in Dennery.
The decisive moment came in the 77th minute when Kervon Edward found the back of the net, sealing the win for Chesters. With this result, they have now completed their campaign in the final round of the second stage.
In another match, Young Stars dominated Bays FC with a commanding 3–0 victory. Garvin Reggie scored a brace in the 39th and 63rd minutes, while Jamie Prospere added the final goal in the 71st minute. Despite this convincing performance, Young Stars have finished the second stage with 11 points and are out of contention for the third round.
