Michael Jordan touched down in Saint Lucia last week, sending waves of excitement across the island. Known for his legendary career and countless achievements on the basketball court, his arrival was a major event.

Jordan’s achievements include winning six NBA championships, five NBA MVP awards, and six NBA Finals MVP awards, as noted by goodreturns.in

Meanwhile, the island’s stunning Pitons also served as the backdrop for another high-profile figure –boxer Jake Paul.

“Known for his controversial persona both inside and outside the ring, Paul’s presence in Saint Lucia adds to the growing buzz surrounding the destination,” the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority said in a post.

Tourism Minister Dr Ernest Hilaire also celebrated his arrival.

Last year, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills visited Saint Lucia for some relaxation (the episode aired last week).

“The ladies explored some of the best of Saint Lucia with a private rum tasting experience with Chairman’s Reserve Rum, sailing along the Caribbean Sea with Sea Spray Cruises – St. Lucia, ending the night with a spectacular dinner at Windjammer Landing,” Hilaire said on Facebook on March 20.

According to Core Magazine, the season 14 cast — Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke, and new housewife Bozoma Saint John, along with actress Jennifer Tilly and socialite Kathy Hilton — stayed at the 65-acre Mediterranean-style luxury resort on their trip to the Caribbean Island in July 2024.

“The housewives enjoyed traditional cultural experiences like Carnival costumes, Soca music and delicious local cuisines on their trip to Saint Lucia, all a part of Windjammer Landing’s 30 years of experience making their guests feel like VIPs”, the magazine reported.

Nick Prattas, Managing Director of Windjammer, told PEOPLE Magazine “Having these Real Housewives legends stay in our Ocean Point Residences truly highlights the luxury experience we’ve created through our recent renovations”.

“It was a pleasure to introduce the group to St. Lucia”, he added.

Although a number of reality TV productions have requested to film at the resort, which has undergone a nearly $30 million renovation over the past three years, ‘PEOPLE’ said, “Real Housewives is the rare series to be welcomed by the resort, according to Benjamin DiCosta, Vice President of Marketing.”
