Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Louis Lewis, alongside Head of Marketing, Dexter Percil, engaged with top media houses in Canada this week to ensure that Saint Lucia remains at the forefront of Canadian travellers’ minds.

The strategic outreach included a one-on-one interview with Bruce Parkinson, Director at Travel Market Report (TMR), a leading travel trade publication and event company serving as an independent voice for retail travel advisers in Canada.

With a unique visitor reach of 60,000, TMR is the first and only trade media founded by travel advisers, for travel advisers. The discussion provided an opportunity to showcase Saint Lucia’s rich cultural experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and ease of travel for Canadian visitors.

The delegation also met with Natasha Lair-McKenty, Content Manager at Travel Pulse Canada, a platform voted #1 by Canadian travel advisers. Travel Pulse Canada is a key resource for travel industry news, covering trends, airlines, resorts, and destinations. The interview delved into Saint Lucia’s growing tourism offerings, its appeal to Canadian travellers, and the immersive experiences that await visitors on the island. As part of the travAlliancemedia network, Travel Pulse has been a trusted source of travel insights since 2002, ensuring that travel agents have the information they need to sell Saint Lucia with confidence.

By engaging with these influential media outlets, Saint Lucia continues to solidify its standing as a must-visit destination in the Canadian market. With a strong media presence and strategic marketing efforts, the island remains poised for continued success, welcoming more Canadian travellers to discover its beauty, culture, and warm hospitality.
