We are the ones killing our world!

From times immemorial, we’ve been preparing for our Heavenly Bounty, seeking to be put on the right hand (side) of God, to have a glorious after-life with all the saints and angels.

All our actions are about saving our souls and hoping to find favour in heaven, our proposed next home after we have departed or destroyed this one. But the life of the present one we all know and live in, we take for granted and do not heed the signs of the times.

The planet is rebelling against the many exploits of its minerals and this has changed our atmosphere and despite the devastation caused by us, mainly to satisfy our greed and quest for earthly gains, we pretend that our needs are greater than to deal with the cause or the problem.

Rivers are drying, storms have become more intense and heat is unbearable; food is becoming more and more contaminated, our reaction to each other is horrid and the big plan for the destruction of mankind is staring us in our very eyes, yet we see-not.

The so-called money-making giants of this world are in action to maximise their earnings, sell as many weapons as posable, stir conflicts, offer drugs for retention for living, sell poisonous foods, poison the atmosphere, while in the midst of the chaos and the confusion and our detached spiritual connection, it becomes easy for the selected few to prosper.

At all levels we become purchasers, we keep buying all that our imagination can want, our cars and houses are deemed too-small, we need artificial intelligence in our households, we demand things at a press of a button, everybody wants to be jet-setting and living like the Joneses, cutting-style on our neighbours, on the less-fortunate.

We now live a life of demands while we sadly lose ourselves and our minds to Modern Day Slavery, imposed on ourselves by us.

The great book asked: ‘What does it profit a man to gain this whole world and lose his soul?’

Our human qualities and values have been compromised, our love of the land and with our fellow man has been destroyed and we are now each other’s worse enemy.

We fight each other like barbarians, we enjoy the thrill of suppression and oppression, and in fact, some are schooled in the art of deception, as we are all selling our souls to the highest bidder, in a land where money talks and common sense takes second place.

Our human status has become animal in all forms and logic or humanity is not in the equation, as the buzz-word is ‘destroy by any means’, ‘kill the opposition’, ‘get rid of the thinkers or the preachers of stability’ and ‘better insanity than redemption’.

The true history or facts of our existence and the exploits of our colonial masters and international well-wishers are still hidden from us, our education remains selective to avoid rebellions, our lives are all calculated, censored, and monitored.

We abide or we become an enemy of the state or the system, so we always need to tread cautiously, or perish.

We have become blamers – in other words we pass the buck and it’s always somebody else responsible for our predicaments, it’s about the government “not putting certain things in place”, “not enough law enforcement”, “no foresight or new ideas…” We are never responsible for our non-involvement or lack of participation in the processes, as we are always looking for a reason, as long as the blame is not directed at us.

We ensure division in class, religion, social status, education and politics and we think everybody should be IT-savvy; we still say ‘Long Live The King’ and we still see America and Europe as our eternal saviours, as many of us are just too blind to see or accept our realities.

In other words, we are the world, but we are also the ones destroying our world, killing each other and yet we never saw, never know and never did.
