The National Insurance Corporation (NIC) is excited to announce that Sneaker Day will take place on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
This annual wellness campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity among workers, particularly those in sedentary roles, and promote a healthier lifestyle across Saint Lucia.
This year, NIC is again partnering with the Ministry of Health, Wellness & Elderly Affairs to host the activity under the broader “Saint Lucia Moves” campaign. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of our workforce and community.
On Sneaker Day, employees are encouraged to wear their usual work attire paired with sneakers instead of their regular formal footwear. This simple yet impactful change serves as a visual reminder to stay active and be mindful of one’s health. NIC invites all organizations and individuals to participate in Sneaker Day to contribute to a healthier, more vibrant Saint Lucia.
