
STUDENTS from the island’s western coastal districts are learning to swim in open water through a programme initiated by the sporting authorities.
The Ministry of Youth Development & Sports, in collaboration with the St. Lucia Aquatics Federation and the Day Swim School, has restarted the Swimming and Water Safety Programme in Canaries and Anse la Raye.
This programme is tailored for primary and infant school students and is dedicated to imparting the significance of water safety.
