SLFA Ramps up Support for Soccer Promotion

For yet another season, the Saint Lucia Football Association has partnered with the firm of Peter & Co Distribution to cement the strong bond between the two entities.

On Monday, a brief Ceremony held at the SLFA Inc. Technical Center in Grande Riviere Dennery saw the unveiling of the Bill Board Dutch Lady Brand.

Also present were, SLFA Inc. President Lyndon Cooper and other staff members, members of the National U-14 Female players training squad and technical team and Divisional Sales Manager Downtrade Ms. Karen Fowell and team.

This year’s theme for World Milk celebrations recognises the importance of dairy in providing nutritious food in diet and livelihoods. It also recognises the contribution the milk sector makes to communities and families.

For this reason, among other things the SLFA Inc. endorses the partnership with Peter & Co. Distribution through its Dutch Lady Brand as milk is a key ingredient in their players’ nutrition plan.

According to Cooper, the food and drinks that players choose to consume can affect their performance in sport and help them to stay fit and healthy. All players should choose foods wisely to help achieve their goals in sport, he said.

Hence, the reason why it is perceived that every time a player set eyes on the Billboard, they are forever reminded that their choice of milk in Diet is the Brand Dutch Lady.

The SLFA president further stressed that staying committed to a balanced nutritional diet is key to achieving peak level football performance as the national teams continue preparation for international tournaments. He noted that one must always be mindful that milk is a staple input of a player’s diet and it gives the player the protein and certain salts to replace those which are lost during training and in competition.

Therefore, the SLFA Inc. is extremely grateful for the continued support that Dutch Lady has provided towards their players development.

Meanwhile, Divisional Sales Manager Down Trade Ms. Karen Fowell said, she is delighted to partner with the SLFA Inc. as they unveil their first Dutch Lady Billboard at the SLFA’s Inc. Technical Centre in Grande Riviere Dennery.

This, as Peter & Co Distributors celebrate Milk Month under the theme – three pillars Consumer, Community, and Commerce.

However, the focus will be on the community and as a result Dutch Lady will be rolling out more support there. Moving forward, they will be erecting more Billboards at Vigie and in Vieux Fort.

To this end, Peter and Company is proud to be associated with Dutch Lady and the SLFA Inc. as they celebrate World Milk month.

Following the brief ceremony, the National Under-14 female training squad and the technical team were presented with Dutch Lady Hampers courtesy of Peter & Co Distribution.
