On Saturday June 17, 2023, about 9:00 p.m. Officers of the Criminal Investigations Unit conducted a search on Travan Chandler of Goodlands, Castries. During the conduct of the search one homemade Shotgun and two rounds (shotgun) of ammunition was recovered.
Travan Chandler was arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition. He was escorted to the First District Court for a bail hearing. Bail was granted to the tune of $15,000 for the Possession of Firearm and $10,000 for Possession of Ammunition. Other bail conditions were set.
