Soufriere Comprehensive defeated Sir Ira Simmons 47 – 9.

Leading the way for Soufriere Comprehensive, were Malic Denis 16 pts 10 rebs and 3 steals, Rayquan Francis 10 pts 9 rebs, 6 steals Daniel Joseph 9 pts, 5 steals and Kallis Charlouis 8 pts, 5 rebs, 3 assists.

Jazaniah Blanchard 7pts 9 rebs, and 4 steals were the main contributor for Sir Ira Simmons.

Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School [LHCSS] defeated Patricia D James Sec. 48 – 8.

For LHCSS, the main contributors were Kamradin Paul 16 pts, 14 rbs, K. Edgar 14 pts and Joel Desriviere 8 pts.

Under 19 Netball

St Lucia Sports Academy (SLSA) beat LHCSS 26-12. SLSA were led by G. S. Clediana De Rose 25 from 29 attempts, and G. A. Makaya Smith 1 from 7 attempts.

G.A. Jadah Prospere 8 from 11 and G.S. Ajanae Thomas were Leon Hess’s main contributors.

Babonneau defeated Castries Comprehensive Secondary School [CCSS] 13 – 6. For Babonneau, G.A. Joezan Louis scored 4 from 6 attempts G.S. Vinecia Edward scored 2 from 2 attempts and G. S. Danikah Bernard scored 7 from 11 attempts.

For CCSS G.S. Naomi Agdonar netted 3 from 7 attempts G.A. Lana Hollingseed scored 3 from 7 attempts

St. Joseph’s Convent (SJC) defeated Entrepot 16 – 11. For SJC; G. A. Angelique Marquis scored 9 from 16 and G. S. Cliff Anne Oulien scored 7 from 9 attempts.

G. A. Xenia Joesph with 9 from 11 and G. S. Kadia Marius scored 2 from 3 attempts.

At Vieux Fort, Vieux Fort Beanfield Comprehensive defeated Choiseul Secondary 21 – 9.

In other updates, the 2022 Inter Secondary Schools Table Tennis Girls Team Championships saw SJC (A) winning 3-0 over Corinth Secondary in the first quarter final match. Ernaya Clerice from SJC was the outstanding player of that match.

The second girls’ quarter final match saw CCSS (A) winning 3-0 over SJC (B). CCSS’s Kiana Felix was the outstanding player of the match.

The third quarter final match saw Soufriere Comprehensive (A) beating CCSS (B) 3-0. Anneilia Paul from the SCSS was the outstanding player of the match.

In the fourth quarter final; Patricia D James Secondary got past Soufriere Comprehensive (B) 3-1. Shatal Charles from PDJS was the outstanding player.

In the Girls team semi-finals; Patricia D James Secondary beat SJC (A) 3-2 in a close encounter. Shatal Charles from the Patricia D James and Kayla Casimir won the deciding doubles match to book their place in the finals.

The other semifinal match saw CCSS (A) winning 3-1 over Soufriere Comprehensive (A). Kiana Felix was the outstanding player of the match.

In the Girls Team Finals; CCSS (A) beat Patricia D James Secondary 3-2. Although Shatal Charles won two matches, the experienced pair of Sapphire Popo and Kiana Felix dominated the deciding doubles match to secure gold, and give CCSS their first girls’ team title.
