On Wednesday 16th November the United Workers Party (UWP) convened a national executive meeting. At that meeting Mr. Oswald Augustin was duly appointed General Secretary of the Party with immediate effect.
Mr. Augustin is no stranger to the UWP. He has served in several leadership positions within the party including more recently as Chairman and prior to that General Secretary. He brings several years of experience to this role. He has always dispatched his duties with the greatest level of efficiency. His passion and political acumen will serve the party well at this time, as it prepares to assume the governance of this country at the next elections.
