Employees at Captain Mike’s Sport Fishing and Pleasure Cruises will now be in a position to receive Trade Union representation.
This week the Department of Labour undertook a Secret Ballot Poll among the employees, sixty-nine percent (69%) of whom voted in favour of having the National Workers Union (NWU) represent their interests.
The National Workers Union has received a Recognition Certificate from the Department of Labour and is in the process of initiating a formal conversation with the Company. Following this, the Leadership of the Union will meet with the employees.
