Cricket action continues today in the 2021 Hero’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 tournament in Basseterre, Saint Kitts with the host team taking on Saint Lucia Kings from 10.00 a.m.
This is the first of two matches today. The Saint Lucia Kings will be going into today’s game on four points having had a clinical win over the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) on Thursday, winning by 51 runs.
The Kings must win today’s encounter to stay in contention and grab on to one of the play off spots that’s available going into the second round of competition. The same applies to the Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots who now stands at the top of the points table.
In today’s second encounter, which starts from 2.30 p.m. Barbados Royals, who lost to the Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Thursday night, will take on Guyana Amazon Warriors.
Tomorrow, from 10.00 a.m. Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots will play Saint Lucia Kings while the Trinbago Knight Riders takes on Jamaica Tallawahs at 2.30 p.m.
Monday 6th is a rest day, but the tournament resumes on Tuesday 7th from 10.00 a.m. with the Jamaica Tallawahs coming up against Trinbago Knight Riders. Barbados Royals versus Guyana Amazon Warriors at 7.00 p.m.
