Saint Lucia Records 9 New Cases of COVID-19

On Sunday, June 27, 2021, the Ministry of Health and Wellness received confirmation of 9 new cases of COVID-19 from the Ezra Long Laboratory. This came from a batch of 126 samples that were taken from June 24 to June 26 and processed on Saturday, June 26.

The newly diagnosed cases mean that there are now 88 active cases in Saint Lucia. They are all doing well and none of them have had to be placed in the intensive care unit.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the country is now 5278.

As of noon, Sunday, June 27, a total of 30,623 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 21,732 of those have also received the second dose.
