Torrential rains this morning has caused more than just flooding and damage in major parts of the island. The inclement weather has forced the Ministry of Health to cancel its vaccination drive at the Vigie Sports Complex.
According to a release from the Department of Health, the cancellation of COVID-19 vaccination drive at the Vigie Sports Complex, today Monday, April 12, 2021 was due to weather conditions and flooding at the vaccination site.
Vaccination at the Vigie Sports Complex will now be conducted on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
The COVID-19 vaccination sites at the Soufriere Hospital Grounds and the Dennery Mothers Preschool (New Field) continue as planned and will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today Monday, April 12, 2021.
