“The Bordelais Correctional Facility commits to a continuation of the modus operandi that has been proven successful in reducing the spread of the virus,” noted the facility via correspondence to the media from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The staff of the Facility will continue to receive vaccines in the coming days.
“The BCF’s management commends the public for being very understanding of some of the new measures put in place during the pandemic, including a mechanism for virtual visits between inmates and family members. Physical visits are not permitted at this time,” stated a release from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
