Chairman’s Spiced Wins Gold, Chairman’s 1931 Ranked in Best Rums of 21st Century

Saint Lucia Distillers had the honor of winning a gold medal at the International Sugarcane Spirits (ISS) Awards.  This major competition spans the expertise of both the Paris and London Rum Festivals. A global competition which brings together the skills of over 300 entries from around the world. The ISS competition is the most legitimate and prestigious international awards for over 30 plus countries.

The International Sugarcane Spirits Tasting Awards are limited to 16 categories.  Chairman’s Reserve Spiced rum stood out this year amongst over 150 of its peers capturing a Gold medal in the “Spiced Rum” division of the competition.

Admiral Rodney HMS Royal Oak was a finalist in the – category for 7-year-old & up rum, standing strong amongst its competitors.

Another success for St. Lucia Distillers was Chairman’s Reserve 1931 capturing a ranking as one of the world’s “Best Rums in the 21st Century on the famous Robb’s List.  A rum first released as a limited edition in 2011 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the distillery, now permanently part of the Chairman’s Reserve range, winning the hearts of all rum enthusiasts worldwide.
