Anthony is one of the founding members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saint Lucia, which was formed in 1976. He served the Institute as a member of Council from 1995 to 2000 and as President from 2004 to 2006. He is the founding President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean (ICAEC), having been appointed by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank in 2004, a position he held until 2006.

He was integral in getting the branches in Saint Lucia, Antigua and St Kitts to become the first members of the ICAEC and mobilized resources to get the necessary legislation in place. He later worked on getting Dominica, St Vincent, Grenada and Montserrat on board. The ICAEC replaced the previous island institutes and now serves as the regulatory body for accountants in the Eastern Caribbean.

As the partner in his firm with responsibilities for learning and education he was instrumental in developing a cadre of professional accountants that would later proceed to head other firms and to industry. As such, many professional accountants across a wide range of sectors in Saint Lucia have benefited from the development initiatives led by Anthony.
