Thirty Centenarians to be Honoured

MADELEINE Joseph – born January, 27, 1918 is the latest amongst a batch of 30 persons set to be honoured by the Division of Human Services.

Official sources from the ministry has indicated that for this year, Saint Lucia is poised to celebrate the birthdays of 30 residents, all aged 100 or over.

Official sources from the ministry has indicated that for this year, Saint Lucia is poised to celebrate the birthdays of 30 residents, all aged 100 or over.

For the month of January, to date, the country has celebrated the birthdays of four centenarians—Mr. Victor Rosemond Smith, born Jan. 1, 1921; Ms. Mary Annel, born Jan. 11, 1919; Ms. Josephine Sealy, born Jan. 15, 1920; Ms. Julia Evans, born Jan. 23, 1920 and Ms. Madelene Joseph, born Jan. 27, 1918.

On Feb. 17, Mr. Darrell Henry born in 1920 will turn 101; while on March 31, Ms. Enda Regina Dorville born in 1918, will turn 103.
