The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force are actively pursuing leads that will help unlock the mystery of identifying a woman’s decomposing body found at a beach.
On Saturday, January 23rd, 2021, the police department released a bulletin via social media and messaging platforms seeking the assistance of the general public in identifying a young female whose body was discovered at Pigeon Island, Gros Islet.
The force beckoned anyone who had a family member, loved one, or person known to them, who has been missing for about one week, and failed to make a report to the police or anyone with information regarding her possible identity to contact the Gros Islet Police Station at 456-3830 or do so anonymously via telephone, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force’s social media platforms or email publicrelations.rslpf@gmail.com.
A photo of a decomposed body that appeared to have already become a victim of the natural elements feverishly made rounds on mobile devices and digital platforms with speculation rife.
