THE Sir Arthur Lewis Community College is promising a celebration of excellence when it hosts its first ever virtual graduation ceremony in January. The College’s annual Graduation exercise which is traditionally held on the first Sunday in December has been slated for January 31st 2021.
The shift in date and format is a consequence of heightened COVID-19 Protocols which are in effect to combat the coronavirus. The College has had to make adjustments to the regular semester in order to deal with the virtual delivery of content to students as well as interruptions caused by the Global Pandemic.
The Virtual Graduation Exercise to celebrate the achievements of the class of 2020 promises to be a more student-centred affair with a number of surprises in store for graduands. Direct communication has begun with the almost 600 students who have qualified for graduation this year. A dedicated page to all things graduation 2020 can be accessed on the College’s website at www.salcc.edu.lc
Corporate Saint Lucia and the general public will be invited to join in congratulating our students who have achieved in what has been a very challenging year. The ceremony will be streamed on the College’s and NTN’s YouTube and social media pages.
