IN keeping with its programme of promoting and supporting local investors and investments, the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture is pleased to present a powerful Breakfast Workshop on Initial Public Offerings (IPO). This Workshop will be facilitated by the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE).
Emerging out of the recently held Investment Symposium on Alternative and Innovative Financing and Investment Options, was the call for continued efforts at providing critical ideas and information on financing and investment alternatives for consideration of the Saint Lucia Business Community. Thus, the workshop was convened. With the absence of breadth and depth of financing instruments in the Eastern Caribbean Economic Union, the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange was established as an avenue for firms in the region to utilize when seeking to find capital for expansion and investment.
The Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange will walk the business community through the practical details of listing on the ECSE, speaking to who can and should utilize this facility. The ECSE will also speak to the Junior Exchange Initiative, which has been designed to give the smaller firm access to the ECSE with much easier and less demanding requirements.
The IPO Workshop, since its previous postponement, has been rescheduled for Wednesday 13th November, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. at the Palmville Conference Room of the Coco Palm Hotel in Rodney Bay Gros Islet. Members of the Business Community are invited to take part in this informative and transformative workshop which will provide valuable and critical information to participants.
Co-Sponsored by the ECSE, First Citizens Investment Services Limited, Bank of Saint Lucia Limited and the St Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, this IPO Breakfast Workshop requires a small investment of EC$150 for Members of the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce and EC$250 for non-members.
