MATCHES continued in the Bank of Saint Lucia/LUCELEC sponsored Castries Football Council (CFC) Youth Football Tournament at the La Clery Playing Field on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October 2019 due to the non-availability of the Sab Sports Facility (World Food Day activities).
The first encounter in the Under 15 division was a one sided affair which resulted in FC Pioneers going down to GMC United 4 – 0, with their goals being scored on either side of the half.
Kervel Cenac scored a brace (2) while, Calvin Marshall and Mickel Castang scored one each.
In a more evenly contested encounter Lancers edged out Valley Soccer 1 – 0. The goal was scored by substitute Erik Roberts in the dying minutes of the game.
Matches continue this weekend at the Sab Sporting Facility.
