Flow-Trevor Daniel FDP Partners With Aiyenero School Of Excellence & Maddison FC

I

THIS year the Flow-Trevor Daniel FDP will be partnering with the Aiyenero School of Excellence & Maddison FC out of Wisconsin USA to start a project organizers believe will serve kids & the nation well. The special technique clinics for kids age 7-16 years will be held in two main locations; Northern Zone (La Clery Field) & Eastern Zone (Mon Repos). The intention is to make this an annual event and although they are 1-day clinics, they form part of a long term goal to take football to the next level locally. According to Programme Director Trevor Daniel, “We hope to increase the players’ chances of getting scholarships, professional contracts or simply better life opportunities/experiences through football.”

The Technique Clinic “Sandals’ Foundations for Excellence” will expose participants to a different approach/style/philosophy of how the game is taught and played, and identify talented players who may have the potential to receive a USA College Education through soccer.

“We hope to set them on the right path and to provide technical & academic support for the next 5-10 years of this journey & beyond,” Daniel said. It will also focus on identifying the “elite” players (or those with the potential to be elite) and propel their development getting them closer to the level of kids their age in the big football nations like England, Spain, USA, Jamaica, Trinidad, Brazil etc.

“Our hope is to produce world class players for national duty & professional contracts in Europe & USA,” he said, adding that there would be emphasis on informing parents on their crucial role as it pertained to the project.

“We have two awesome coaches facilitating the clinics alongside our local coaches:

Coach Henry Aiyenero who holds a U.S. Soccer Federation “A” coaching license, is the Technical Director of Player Development for Aiyenero School of Excellence (ASE),” Daniel noted. “Coach Henry brings energy and experience necessary to teach players how be successful on the field and his approach allows players to grow.”
Aiyenero, was born in Nigeria and grew up in Canada. He played college soccer at Bethel College and went on to play professional soccer for teams in Hong Kong and Brazil. Coach AymarSenaise holds a USSF D License and has many years of experience & knowledge working with children. He is Saint Lucian by birth but moved to the USA at the age of 17 through a high school football exchange programme. Before leaving St. Lucia Aymar had captained his high school team St. Mary’s College, his club U16 team Lancers FC & also the National U16 team. Senaise went on to finance his education at the Univerity of Wisconcin through football 1999 – 2003, an experience he hopes to help young players in Saint Lucia experience themselves. After playing for the Badgers Aymar played for three years with the Madison 56ers NPSL and currently plays with the Madison Fire helping the team win four President Cups.
