PRIME Minister Allen Chastanet, has denied rumours that the Health City Cayman Islands (HCCI) group have pulled out of the OKEU deal with the Government of Saint Lucia.

Before entering the Parliament Building on Tuesday, Chastanet was asked if there was any truth to those rumours.

“They haven’t” pulled out of OKEU negotiations, Chastanet stated.

He continued: “We are in discussions with several different parties — as I’ve told you — and when we’re ready to make a decision, we’ll certainly let everybody know that we’ve made a decision.

“But right now, we’re looking at all the options that we have.”

Once again, the claim was carried in the One Caribbean newspaper, which claimed in its latest issue that the alleged decision by the HCCI group came about as a result of extended revelations by former UWP Government Minister Richard Frederick on his weekly show, ‘Can I help you?’
