URUGUAY secured top spot in Group A at the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Monday, as they eased to a 3-0 victory over 10-man Russia.
For Uruguay, Luis Suárez (10th minute), Denis Cheryshev (23rd minute own goal) and Edinson Cavani (90th minute)
Mohamed Salah was on the scoresheet for Egypt, but they lost 2-1 to Saudi Arabia at the Volgograd Arena to finish the tournament without a point.
For Saudi, Arabi Al Faraj (45’+6 minutes penalty), Al Dawsari (90’+5 minutes). For Egypt, Mohamed Salah (22nd minute).

Both teams will find out their last 16 opponents, with Uruguay set to play the Group B runners-up, and Russia the Group B winners.
Before going to press on Monday, Iran faced Portugal and Spain played Morocco as Group B comes to a close.
Today’s schedule: Denmark versus France, Australia plays Peru, Nigeria versus Argentina and Croatia plays Iceland.
Tomorrow schedule: Mexico versus Sweden, South Korea plays Germany, Switzerland versus Costa Rica and Serbia plays Brazil.
Thursday schedule – Japan versus Poland, Senegal plays Colombia, England versus Belgium and Panama plays Tunisia.
The round of 16 starts on Saturday 30 June with two matches.
