PRESS RELEASE – PRESIDENT of the Saint Lucia National Youth Council (SLNYC), Jeshurun Andrew, is in the Dominican Republic to participate in a Regional Learning Route.
The activity is funded by from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), with co-funding of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the PROCASUR Corporation and the governments of participating countries, under the project ‘GCP/SLC/005/IFA Strengthening Decent Rural Employment Opportunities for Young Women and Men in the Caribbean.
Andrew is part of a St. Lucian delegation that includes TsianTheophile from the St. Lucia Agriculture Forum for Youth, and Randel Esnard, Project Coordinator at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Physical Planning, Natural Resources and Cooperatives. The activity runs from November 6 to 11.
Andrew, who is an Agricultural Extension Officer by trade, is excited about being part of the activity, and has pledged to use the knowledge and experience gained to contribute to the development of Saint Lucian Youth.
