UNLESS you have been hibernating or taken your eyes and ears off all media traditional and social you will no doubt by now have heard of Specialty Caribbean Expo 2017!
After numerous calls from the business community to repeat or replicate EXPO 2012; TEPA envisaged and is set to host Specialty Caribbean EXPO 2017, March 9 – 12, at the Daren Sammy Cricket Grounds (DSCG), Beausejour, Gros Islet from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
As the name suggests, this EXPO will not be an exhibition of just Saint Lucian goods and services but will feature exhibitors from the OECS and Martinique. TEPA, in association with the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) has committed to working towards the planning and implementation of this exposition, one that would run every two to three years, hosted by different OECS member states.
Themed “A Unique Buying Experience”, the event will be buyer-focused with the overall objective of increasing OECS exports and partnerships while affording member-state exhibitors the opportunity to be seen by buyers from UK, US, Cuba, Martinique and the wider Caribbean.
As we seek to showcase the very best of the OECS, TEPA has embarked on a mini campaign named ExpoZING, where we feature some of our exhibitors, learn their stories, see them in their habitat and get an intimate look into what they do, what makes them unique and what makes them the best! ExpoZING is an interview and testimonial session which takes you behind the scenes and showcases the products and services of some of the exhibitors at the upcoming Specialty Caribbean Expo 2017.
