‘Ambassadors’ Send Condolences on Get Through’s Passing

The Ambassadors Calypso Tent, alongside the entire calypso fraternity, wishes to send out sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Cyril “Get Through” Felix, who died on Wednesday this week.

An icon of calypso, a great force and an administrator par excellence, Get Through devoted his life and energies to the uplifting and promotion of the calypso art form.

A community man who loved Marchand like no other place, Get Through made a point of letting us know that Marchand was a great place to live, work and to just be.

The calypso fraternity, especially his tent members of the Take Over Tent will miss Mr. Marchand dearly.
In fact, while we were getting ready to chant, our brother was making his final journey…. What the people chanting…Tell them we want a revolution….

Rest in peace, Brother Get Through. We sang you on your journey and we will sing you home.
