IT’S Promotional football action tomorrow at the Dennery Cricket Ground. That’s when the Dennery Football League will stage the Plante’s Place Senior competition grand final schedule from 3:30 p.m. between Piton Travel Young Stars and Seria.
The two teams registered convincing victories over their opponents in the semifinals earlier this week and will be vying for the ultimate prize on being crowedn champions and gain bragging rights to represent the league in this year’s SLFA President’s Cup.
According to the organizers, the prize giving ceremony will immediately follow the finals.
Also on Sunday in the Gros Islet Football League Tournament sponsored by Twist Restaurant and in conjunction with the St. Lucia Football Association will stage the Promotional League’s final slated for the Grande Riviere Playing Field. It will feature Dominators FC and GMC United and start at 3.00 p.m.
The winner of that encounter will represent the GIFL in the SLFA President’s Cup.
Meanwhile, football action is back on the east coast tomorrow, this time in the district of Micoud. Two big games are scheduled for the Micoud Playing Field as the Micoud Football League commences. From 4:00 p.m. Helenities will come up against Uprising; while at 6:00 p.m. Pakis takes on Boca Juniors.
