THE EDITOR:
Is my mind playing games with me or am I correct in recalling how incensed the SLP Prime Minister was in December 2011 after he was returned to office and discovered that the former UWP government had renewed the contracts of some minor public officers.
Can you please check the record and persuade other journalists to do the same and let the public know whether the SLP Prime Minister had demanded that all persons on statutory boards resign forthwith?
Why would that same leader, knowing better, wish to restrict the hands of this new government by extending a political contract beyond the term of his government to an Attorney General?
Why were the elections called in such a hurry? Was it because he became impatient waiting for certain court cases that seem to drag too long? Your readers have a right to know and I, a desire to be enlightened.
