A new LED lighting company has opened its doors in St. Lucia offering lighting fixtures that could last for 20 or more years.

The company, “Caribbean LED Lighting St. Lucia Inc.” is located in the Orange Park Commercial Centre at Bois d’ Orange, Gros Islet and had a soft launching Wednesday.

Set up in August of last year the company’s unique quality is not in the retailing of LED lights like tubes, bulbs, flat panel lights, spotlights or downlights or even flood lights, but in its ability to manufacture the very same lights that it sells and distribute them as well.

The company manufactures its’ own high quality products and stands by its words where the warranty of its products is concerned.

Country Manager, Mrs. DernieaSerieux-Ellis explains that the company is serious in respect of the guarantee it gives on purchase of any of its products.

For instance the LED A19 bulb sold by company comes with a three year warranty. It has a lifespan of 35, 000 hours with an input voltage of 85-265 volts and power consumption of three watts, five watts, seven watts and nine watts.

The LED two and four feet tubes have a lifespan of 50,000 hours and come with a five year warranty. So too is the two feet by two feet flat panel lighting fixture which, however comes with a lifespan of 30,000 hours.

All other lighting fixtures come with either a three or five year warranty and with a high power consumption rate that would enable huge savings on light bills.

In fact the company says that it makes the best product, hence the reason it can afford to give warranties up to five years.

Caribbean LED Lighting (St. Lucia) Inc. is a sister company to Caribbean Lighting Inc. based in Barbados. But why open a branch in St. Lucia and not another Caribbean country?

“We thought St. Lucia was one of the most progressive islands when we were looking around coupled with the ease of doing business here,” Mrs. Serieux Ellis said.

She added that the company is able to provide lighting solutions to all residential or commercial situations. She believes that the quality of the products offered by her company will outweigh their prices.

The company is the exclusive manufacturers and distributors for LED Roadway Lighting throughout the Caribbean.
