Additionally, at the 176th meeting of Directors, Mr. John C. Joseph was appointed to replace Dr. Byer on the Board effective January 1, 2016, to represent minority shareholder interests. Joseph is a former Financial Controller at LUCELEC and a former Managing Director of the Water and Sewerage Company Inc. from where he retired in December 2013. He is currently a consultant with the Water and Waste Water Solutions of Canada.
LUCELEC has also lost the services of Director Andre Chastanet who submitted his resignation to the Board effective December 31, 2015. A chartered accountant by profession, Chastanet joined the Board in November 2012 representing minority shareholders. A replacement for Chastanet has not yet been identified.
