THE St. Lucia Youth Talent on Parade (SYTOP) Drug Free Club which advocates for healthy lifestyles in body, soul and mind showcases its sixth season of the Drug Free Expose’.
The show endorsed by the Substance Abuse Advisory Council Secretariat (SAACS) will be held on Saturday November 7 at 5:00 p.m at the National Cultural Centre.
The eight participants have been involved in a number of fund raising activities such as cake sales and a raffle sponsored by Augberge Seraphine. This year the participants hail from Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in Vieux Fort, Sir Arthur Lewis Morne Fortune, Vide Bouteille Secondary, Gros Islet Secondary, and Castries Comprehensive Secondary.
Exploring the 2015 theme ‘Youth in Action – Drug Free for Life’ participants have undergone training organized by SAACS during August and are ready to deliver stunning performances through their creativity and talent. Other youth groups like Shotokan Karate Do and other artistes will be staging dynamic performances.
Local cuisine and juices will be on sale. An appeal goes out to the public and corporate St. Lucia to support this worthy venture. Proceeds will help fund an educational retreat overseas.
