PREPARATIONS are moving smoothly for St. Lucia’s hosting of the 2015 Jean Pierre Youth Netball Championship next month and with just days to go, the National Netball Association has released the names of 16 players to continue training for final team selection.
According to SLNNA Public Relations Officer Genevieve St.Croix, the technical team will meet shortly to select the final 12 players for the tournament. The current squad is under the watchful eyes of the 2014 senior netball player of the year / coach Shem Maxwell and senior national player Roxanne Snyder.
St. Lucia last hosted the tournament in 2004; and were champions in 2011.
