DIGICEL continues to partner with national agencies and organizations in the promotion and development of ICT initiatives across the island.
In a collaboration with the Ministry of Education for the National Primary School Website Development Competition, Digicel on Wednesday rewarded the top achievers in this programme.
Through the Information Technology Unit of the Ministry of Education, the National Infant and Primary School competition was commissioned. This initiative served to meet several objectives including enhancing students theoretical and practical skills in web development, increase visibility for schools with web presence and infuse information technology into school curriculum at an earlier stage. This opportunity also allowed schools to better engage their alumni and remain current in the advancement of school affairs.
