Anthony De Beauville is The VOICE Publishing Company’s multi-award winning sports journalist. He works closely with a number of sports federations including the Department of Youth Development and Sports, the Saint Lucia Olympic Committee and other organizations.
He covers and contributes articles highlighting the areas of international, regional, national, community based clubs and schools sporting activities.
There is never an off day as he stays busy even on weekends.
His determination to be a successful sports journalist is evident in his featured work which he takes the time to do off the clock and sometimes in the wee hours of the morning.
Anthony has had the opportunity to cover prestigious events such as the London Legacy Tour in 2013, the only Journalist from the Caribbean to attend with 13 other journalists from around the World. He has covered the ever popular Atlantic Rally For Cruisers and has reported on the first yacht to arrive in Saint Lucia for 11 consecutive years; World Arc and World Arc + back-to-back, the Caribbean Premiere League, the most NORCECA World Qualifiers Group D and E held in Saint Lucia and CONCACAF Women’s Under – 17 Football Qualifiers’
Tony has also dabbled into broadcasting, as he has also conducted post-game interviews during a few of the events.
Over the years, Anthony has also contributed to Track and Field, Volleyball, Bodybuilding and Netball as a Public Relations Officer; at present he is the Public Relations Officer for the Saint Lucia Volleyball Association and the Saint Lucia Bodybuilding and Fitness Association.
A qualified track and field coach (specializes in middle and long distance running) and cycling coach,he is very passionate about the world of sports,especially in his homeland and is an aspiration to an undisclosed number of young sportsmen and sportswomen.
