JUNIOR Sportsman for the Year 2014 Adriel Bousquet will lead St.Lucia a six man tennis team in the upcoming ITF Tournaments to be held in Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and Guadeloupe.
According to information coming from the National Tennis Centre some of the team members left the island yesterday, while the remainder of the squad will leave this afternoon for Barbados .The head of delegation is John Williams.
The squad that includes AdrielBousquet, ranked No.4, lone female Meggan William Ranked at No.13, Nathan Francis ranked No. 21, Nicholas St. John ranked at No. 25, Aidan Bousquet Ranked at No. 107. Aidan will compete in the 14 and under boys and Shamar Marcus the lone 18 and under player.
Team St. Lucia is expected to be in Barbados from today through to Wednesday, where they will be competing against Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Jamaica, Grenada, St.Vincent and the Grenadines, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago and host Barbados.
The team will then move on to Trinidad and Tobago on Friday to do further battle; thereafter Nicholas St. John, brothers Adriel and Aidan Bousquet will continue on Guadeloupe to end the Eastern Caribbean leg of the ITF tournament for this season.
