SPLASH Island Water Park St. Lucia announces its TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for the second consecutive year. Since 2011, the influential travel planning and booking site, TripAdvisor, has honoured hospitality businesses worldwide for delivering exceptional service and achieving outstanding traveller reviews.
Splash Island, as it is locally known, is located on Reduit Beach and is adjacent to the Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa. It opened nearly three years ago and features an array of exciting obstacle courses the entire family can enjoy.
Managing Director and 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year, Mrs. Julianna Ward-Destang remarked, “We are grateful to all our customers who continue to visit and enjoy Splash Island as well as to our staff who are dedicated and committed to service excellence.”
This Certificate of Excellence accounts for recent reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.
To qualify, businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months and have a minimum number of reviews.
Thus, approximately one in ten of the total businesses on TripAdvisor that have consistently achieved great reviews over the past year earns a Certificate of Excellence.
Over the year, visitors to the water park have described their experiences as, “Fun for the young and old,” “Great for the kids,” “Enjoyable inflatable park floating off the beach,” “So much fun,” as well as “Great fun and an excellent work out!”
